Privacy choices

These choices apply to this browser. We keep them in a cookie that records nothing else, so they stay set when you come back. The Privacy Policy explains each one in full.

Ad measurement

When you arrive from one of our Reddit ads, we ask whether we may measure whether the ad worked. If you allow it, we keep a note of that ad in a cookie for 30 days. If you then sign up, start a trial or subscribe, we tell Reddit, and we send only the ad's click ID.

Choosing Don't allow deletes the note if we kept one. An account you made after allowing it has its own setting on your Account page.

You haven't made this choice in this browser.

Visit counting

We count visits to our public pages with Umami, which runs on our own server and sets no cookies. It records the page address without its query string, the site that linked to it, and your browser, device and country, and we use the totals to see which pages people read. It never runs on sign-in, account or billing pages.
